Did you know that SAP Business One has a utility that allows you to engage in a real-time conversation with one or more users without having to use other external tools?
Thanks to the "real time collaboration" functionality, you can chat with other users to resolve doubts, share knowledge or comment on progress. This option is available for both the HANA and MSSQL versions and can be accessed via the toolbar at the top of the screen.
By clicking on the first button on the left, a screen will be displayed from which you can see the list of users of the system and, additionally, the groups of users previously used.
When you choose a user from the list, SAP Business One will show a screen where you will see the content of the last conversation you had, and you will be able to continue with the topic to deal with this time.
You can also invite another user to participate in the conversation if necessary, by pressing the upper right button (+ symbol).
The real-time collaboration feature also allows you to manage a communication related to a document from here. This would be the case, for example, of asking our interlocutor to verify an order, an invoice or an article master data. Once done, the chat tool will collect the order related in this case and our interlocutor will only have to click on the message to open the order directly from the chat.
Another possibility of sending information to a chat is that we can use the function "send to the conversation" located on the top button. In this way the document we are viewing will go directly to the active chat.
